1. Who we are
TalkHub is a language-learning platform offering live rooms, voice practice, quizzes, learning resources, community features, memberships, referrals, and support tools. For privacy questions, contact talkhub.support@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, a one-way password hash when email sign-in is used, profile image, language, theme, and profile details. TalkHub never stores your plain-text password.
- Social login data: your provider identifier and permitted profile data from Google or Facebook. TalkHub never receives your social account password.
- Learning and community data: room participation, messages, reactions, files you choose to share, quiz attempts, scores, follows, feedback, reports, and referrals.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, request identifiers, security events, connection diagnostics, cookies, session tokens, and—if you consent—page visits and referral campaign parameters used for analytics.
- Payment data: membership or donation status and transaction references. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by TalkHub.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize TalkHub, authenticate users, operate voice rooms and learning tools, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, enforce room safety, provide support, measure reliability, understand search and AI referral performance, and improve the service.
4. Voice, files, and public activity
Live voice is transmitted to other room participants and is not intentionally recorded by TalkHub unless a recording feature clearly asks for consent. Messages, reactions, shared files, profile information, and public room activity may be visible to other users. Only share content you are comfortable sharing with the room.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We may use infrastructure and service providers such as Render, Supabase, Redis hosting, Resend, Google (including Google Analytics when you consent), Meta, Stripe, and Sentry to operate TalkHub. They process only the information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud and abuse. We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and local storage
TalkHub uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, language and theme preferences, referral attribution, and service continuity. Google Analytics is non-essential and loads only after you accept it. You can change that choice below at any time. Disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in or other core features from working.
Google Analytics: chưa lựa chọn / not selected.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect TalkHub from abuse. We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted session tokens, rate limits, and monitoring, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may review or update profile information in Account Settings, revoke Google or Facebook access in the provider’s settings, and delete your TalkHub account. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us from the address associated with your account. See our Facebook Data Deletion instructions.
9. Children and international use
TalkHub is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. Because TalkHub is available globally, information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.
10. Changes and contact
Effective 13 August 2026. We may update this policy as TalkHub evolves. Material changes will be indicated by a new effective date or an in-product notice. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to talkhub.support@gmail.com.
